How we research our comparison pages

Short answer

Each comparison cites dated public sources, mostly the other product’s own pages, says when the other tool fits better, and makes no speed, accuracy or price-advantage claim, because Sybqa has not run those products head to head. Our rule is to keep those facts under 31 days old.

On this page

We make Sybqa, and we publish pages that compare it with other testing tools. That is a conflict of interest, so this post sets out the rules those pages follow: where the facts come from, how they are dated, and which claims they never make.

Facts come from public pages you can check

Every statement about another product comes from a public page listed under Sources on that comparison, so you can read it yourself. Most of those are the product’s own pages, such as its pricing page or documentation; a launch date, for example, can come from a public launch listing.

Roundups list several tools side by side. Each tool’s facts come from its own page, and that page is listed under the roundup’s sources too.

Every source carries the date we read it

Each source label names the day its page was read, written like “(checked October 24, 2026)”. A comparison’s Facts checked date is the day those pages were read. A copy edit that rereads no source is labelled Updated instead.

Our rule is that a comparison fact stays under 31 days old. A fact read on October 10 is due for a recheck on November 10, and a fact exactly 31 days old counts as stale. Prices and plan limits change, so confirm them on the other product’s page before you decide.

Each comparison says when the other tool fits better

Every comparison has a pair of lists: when to choose the other product, and when to choose Sybqa. A comparison that could never recommend the other tool would not help you choose.

We make Sybqa, and each roundup says so: Sybqa’s entry is labelled “(we make this)” and says when it is not the right choice.

Claims we do not make

How to check a comparison yourself

  1. Read the date next to each source.
  2. Open the source and compare it with what the comparison says.
  3. Read the pair of lists that says when each tool fits better.
  4. If a fact looks out of date, tell us with Send feedback at the bottom of the page.

Common questions

Has Sybqa tested the products it compares?

No. Sybqa has not run these products head to head, so no comparison claims a measured accuracy, speed or detection-quality difference.
