Google retired its Mobile-Friendly Test; run a free mobile check here
Open Sybqa’s existing account-free browser check, paste your public URL and confirm permission before it runs. The read-only check includes phone and desktop viewports. It is not Google’s retired test.
No account for one anonymous check, when available. This opens the homepage form; it does not start a run. If free checks are paused or already used, the homepage offers sign-up instead.
What the free check covers
- A real browser at 390 × 844 phone size and 1440 × 900 desktop size, with screenshots and recorded findings to review.
- Automated layout and accessibility checks on the pages reached, plus browser errors encountered during the check. A report only describes what actually ran.
- A bounded, read-only visit: up to 3 pages, 6 steps and 80 seconds. AI review is off; no write-enabled form submissions, purchases, login credentials or private URLs.
Use only a public site you own or have permission to test. The same consent, rate limits, target restrictions and abuse protections as the homepage apply. Blocked or not-run checks are not passes.
What this is not
This is not a Google verdict, a mobile-friendly certificate, an exhaustive audit, or proof that every route and device works. A phone-sized browser window is not a physical phone. Review the tested widths and screenshots, then check important journeys on a real device.
For Google’s retirement announcement and a manual checklist, read the Google Mobile-Friendly Test replacement guide. Use Lighthouse for lab audits or PageSpeed Insights for Lighthouse results and available field Core Web Vitals. Sybqa does not supply those scores.
Common questions
Is this the Google Mobile-Friendly Test?
No. Google retired its Mobile-Friendly Test on December 1, 2023. Sybqa is independent; this is not a Google verdict or a search ranking guarantee.
Do I need an account for the free check?
No account is needed for one anonymous check when the free lane is available. Use a public site you own or have permission to test. Existing consent, rate limits and abuse protections apply; capacity or visitor limits may prevent a run.
Which phone size does it check?
The existing free check uses a 390 × 844 phone-sized viewport and a 1440 × 900 desktop viewport. These are browser windows, not physical-device tests. This page does not select a different viewport or start a run.
Does the free check include AI review or performance scores?
AI review is off in the anonymous check. It does not provide a Lighthouse score, field Core Web Vitals, a Google indexing verdict or proof of accessibility compliance. Use Lighthouse or PageSpeed Insights for performance audits, and test on a real phone too.
